Internships

Interested in becoming more involved?
Paintbrush Diplomacy welcomes passionate and dedicated individuals to bring fresh ideas and insight to our organization. With all that must be done, you are sure to fulfill their interdisciplinary interests with our positions. As a PBD intern, you will be able to choose your focus and work on a project of your interest. Interns are encouraged to take the initiative to work individually, with the support of the PBD team.

PBD gives interns the chance to play significant roles and to make differences within the organization while also giving interns the experience of working in the nonprofit sector and improving certain skills. All positions are unpaid unless indicated.

What is the time commitment involved?
The team meets once a week for new updates on projects, discussions of progress and directions, and professional/social workshops. Depending on what your position is, certain projects will take longer than others. We require at least a six-month commitment from all interns.

How do I sign up?
If you’re interested in joining our team, please send your resume and cover letter briefly describing your interest in PBD and the areas of Paintbrush you are interested in. Please email the required documents to the Executive Director, Louise Valeur, at info@Paintbrushdiplomacy.org with “Paintbrush Diplomacy Intern” in the subject line. She will contact you to schedule an interview. The following are areas for which we are seeking interns:
